Wood Drying
Happy Creek offers wood drying for woodworkers. We use a 6000 board-feet Koetter Kiln to dry all our wood. The kiln is waste wood fueled.
Drying time for 1 inch stock:
- Fir: 7-10 days
- Maple: 10-14 days
- Alder: 10-14 days
- Arbutus: 14-21 days
- Garry Oak: 30 days
